TOPIC: Employment Law Issues in Fraud Investigations

Speaker: aNN pRICE, eSQ.

Program Description:

Every step of a fraud investigation of an employee contains employment law landmines. We will discuss issues and best practices regarding the establishment of a predicate for an investigation, the manner and methods of the investigation, communication about the investigation and its conclusion, the employment disposition of the accused, reference requests regarding the accused, and employers’ remedies for wrongdoing.

About the speaker

She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, has been repeatedly recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer (Thompson-Reuters Corporation), and is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) for Employment Law – Management.
