This event qualifies for 1 hour of CLE for attorneys, .25 of the 1 hour is toward ethics.

Program Description:
The goal of this presentation is to train and inform professionals on the use of investigative due diligence, primarily in the context of mergers and acquisitions. The presentation explores the reasons why an investigative due diligence is a critical supplement to the financial analysis for identifying inconsistencies and potential red flags for fraud prior to the completion of a deal. A list of qualifications of a good investigator is reviewed along with why selecting a properly credentialed investigator is important. Finally, the presentation also contains an ethics component concerning the supervision of personnel.
